The last two nights have been bloody awful. I feel as though I have some sort of flu like symptoms, big headaches, eyes hurt, now aches and pains.
The last two nights however I have woken up and been absolutely saturated in a cold sweat. Bed sheets, pillow cases, duvet cover all soaked and freezing - man it was bad. Been up since 4 as the same happened tonight.
Can't be the nori thing as no sickness/pukeing, etc.

Just a case of flu ?

Proper flu normally means you can't actually move from the bed without keeling over, you lose all sense of balance and stuff - I've only had it like that a couple of times and it's not nice. If you just feel like crap, shivery, cold sweat etc I'd say it's just a mild flu. Keep warm, lots of fluids, rest, you'll be ok.

Cold sweats mean you have some sort of infection. Paracetamol is good for keeping your temp under control and something like Neurofen works as an ant inflammatory. Try Beechams "all in one" they see to work.

I've had the exact same thing. Sadly, if you've the same lurgie as me, then it'll be hitting you hard round about now: two days of feeling rough, then BAM...out it comes: coughing, tiredness, full-on aches, pains, groginess etc, etc.
As said, Beechams all-in-one are pretty good.
Good luck!

Well, i'm actually starting to feel a little bit better, not quite the profuse sweating at night so getting more sleep. Rough coughing has started and muscles all cramped up and aching. Still got bad headaches but think i've got over the worst.
