V8 Engine Rebuild with Photos

A really interesting post for those of you interested in the V8 and seeing it rebuilt.

The chap did a very nice rebuild....
What makes me smile is that there is so much, talk of how "special" AM engines are, and due to this you need to be a brain surgeon to work on them etc etc...
Looking at those pics, its just a plain simple engine....bits of metal and some nuts and bolts... Chain driven cams, DOHC, bucket and shim valve gear.... It really is basic stuff...
Which IMO is good........ Just shows... It's always good practice to allow proper warm up before using the revs
Oh and checking the oil now and then is probably a good idea too
