Brilliant scenes with the crowbar vs the gun!
A brilliant blend of action, suspense and comedy.

Piotr is only in it for himself now, he wants out. The old mental guy was so obviously Carvel I can't believe it took them so long to properly reveal it.

This is a great series. Only started watching it after I saw the second series advertised. Now fully up to date after back back episodes on 4OD (phew - quite intense!).

Interesting characters, intriguing plot, proper violence. I think it's very bravely written and really well acted. In addition I think it is very well filmed with some lovely camera work and well chosen/atmospheric music.

Best series I've watched since Breaking Bad.

I await the next episode in earnest. smile

In addition, I'm trying to work out whether Jessica Hyde is fit or not...still up for debate.

Starting to think this might be one of the best drama's I've ever seen. It's up there with the best of them.

I agree - it's certainly one the best (and bravest) UK-based adult dramas I have seen for a long while. I think it is superb.

More child killing! Brave scenes at the beginning, no worse than the school shooting though I suppose.

Had a feeling Carvel's addition to Janus was to choose a certain group of people after he said it could be done in episode 1. There's lots of side stories going on too. What is Jessica playing at? What will happen if she sees her dad? What's Arby's plan now? Does he realise the old man is Carvel? Why is Dugdale's family in lockup?

Then there's the ultimate question, as the viewer, what do I want? Do I want Janus to be released and Mr. Rabbit to succeed? The argument for Janus is damn strong, the argument against is just a question of morality. The only hiccup being Carvel's extra input in choosing a race to take over the globe. This will be sour news to Milner who detested the idea wanting random selection for a fair run for the surviving populations.

I prefer Carvel's plan though, to help evolution!

Jumped about a bit and Ian finding Jessica was a bit of a stretch.

Carvel mentioned 5 "families" didn't he? I wondered whether he wanted to punish the Nazis, and so engineer it that white/Europeans wouldn't survive whereas the others would.

Idle speculation.

Still an amazingly 'adult' programme, talk about dealing with the big issues!

Building up to a proper climax.
