HPC Young Drivers Day 2013

The High Performance Club will be running another Young Drivers Day on the 13th of July 2013. This is open to those who are aged 26 years or less and hold a full driver's licence, and are not already HPC members. The aims of the day are to:

• Promote awareness of driving skills at advanced levels
• Encourage the participants to develop their own skills
• Have fun

The HPC membership regard the "high performance" bit as referring to the driver rather than the car.

Was really excited about this but now starting a job in June and need to set up a new house. I'll try and scrape some funds together for next year. I'm amazed there's spaces left though, I'm chomping at the bit to go!

Well, yes, there were 20 or so. I don't know how many were from PH, but I'm pretty sure all went away with new ideas, new goals, and possibly plans for achieving same. I saw many people making arrangements for meets and drives. I hope and expect that this will lead to an influx of new members over time.

Personally, I was fortunate to be invited to go TVR driving in the afternoon. Hot, but a lot of fun ...
