When I sold my Vx220Turbo back in January, I spent about two hours fine tuning the advert and the same time taking pictures. Et voila, within two days I got just under the asking price and fully paid.
Are you replcaing the Spyder with anything?

I would presume if you were to trade in, you wouldn't get much above £30k from a dealer. What sort of margins do they usually work off on a car such as this?

Thanks for the response. Not too concerned whether to buy via OPC or not. I guess the major card they play is the warranty which doesn't really concern me to be fair. PASM, heated seats listed !! bad advert and from a Porsche dealer !!!
Clutch pedal missing, no leather, buckets seats had a 25 stone person in them.
PDK cars are not selling well, 2 have been for sale ages wrong box for the car now so imo if you want PDK it has to be much much cheaper than £43k

Having had first hand, real ownership of both cars, the Spyders lack of mid range torque puts it at a distinct disadvantage.
You have a strange fixation with other people's purchases!
There's a few of us going to Brooklands tomorrow morning - meeting at Leicester Forest services.
Why don't you pop along and we'll see how they compare....
Oh, it's an International Lotus Day, so I'm afraid you'll have to park your mid-life crisis in the general public carpark ;-)

If brooklands were some where nice then I would have come along, but a trip inside the wrong side of the M25 is not that exciting :-(
but we should get a EVO triangle group together this summer.
