Travel to Japanese GP Any experience's??

Looking at either going to the GP or seeing if the Princess Cruises around Japan are worthwhile. The Air fare does not look that bad, Air Sri Lanka comes in Under £600 and even pushing the boat out on Emirates is £700-ish. But what are the travelling conditions like? Also what would be the best options to get from the Airport to the Circuit/Accommodation?
