That looks amazing, almost too good to be true, hope it is though.

It does look epic, especially the Zakspeed Capri, but, I can't access the forums to have a look at what is going on.

Are you a forum member? If so, what is the Rally part of the game like? I can there is a co-op option, could you have a mate co-driving for you?

Any idea of the rally locations and cars available?

There is no rally in the game. The graphics are nice but they do not look as polished as the screenshots would suggest.

The physics vary from decent to down right weird depending on the car. I've been playing GTR2 for the first time this week and it feels much better than pCARS does currently but it is still a work in progress so hopefully we'l see a lot of improvements over the next few months.

I go hot and cold on this - sometimes it's great, then they patch it and it all goes mad again.

  • if* they sort out the handling, then it'll be great. It certainly looks great... trouble is Assetto Corsa, rFactor2 and the new RaceRoom game are all almost finished and released, too!

I can only hope for good physics and graphics to go with that.

I fear another Race Pro but a bit better.

From a simulation point of view it's ultimately going to be compromised due to being developed for consoles and ported for the pc market. Shame as with Cadwell and Oulton along with that car list it would have been nice to have a decent handling/physics model behind it.

Been playing this for a while on PC, its certainly come a long way. The physics still seem a bit suspect, cant fault the graphics, tracks and car licenses though. Z4 GT3 racing around Nurburgring is good fun smile

Not if the current handling model is anything to go by... Hopefully they'll finally strike upon something that works among the endless updates they're churning out. Anyone have any idea when you can sign up for the AC beta?

Unfortunately i'm not a member unlike many others, i understand it is still in development so fingers cross they can make it as brilliant as it sounds!

as long as its good fun with mates, an yet provide proper hard challenging racing i'm buying, there is nothing like this on ps3 of which is the console and platform i shall be playing it on.

GT5 handles a lot better than this. Project Cars is more like Shift 2, which is no surprise considering its the same people making it.

I have patchy luck with pCARS but I think it'll come good in the end. Some builds run brilliantly and other not well at all. I probably haven't given it enough of my time to fully assess it, but as the first racing sim to state that they want to support the Oculus Rift, I'll be on it non-stop once that's out.

Between that, iRacing and now the Race Room Revolution beta I think I've got all the sim action I need for a long long time.

I didn't think there was going to be one. There's a tech demo out in a few weeks and then the final version is released Q1 this year.

More L49 previews released today too..

Cheers for the info cool

And forgot about Race Room Revolution, does it feel much more advanced than SimBin's previous titles?

I haven't tried RRE for a while and I'm not in the beta but it felt pretty poor to me, didn't help that assists were forced on though. GTR2 and Race 07 feel better imo.

I'm pinning my hopes on Asseto Corsa.

Is anyone still into this?
Only heard about it recently and it looks interesting, just wasn't sure weather its worth jumping in or not.
Don't mind the €11 signup but I'll need to upgrade my computer a bit I think.
