When i read the title i thought you had put a random V8 into a Cortina Lotus

But it appears you have put a Lotus V8 into a Cortina,hopefully not chopping about

a genuine Lotus

Engine is on a stand at present and i am getting ready to have it running again before i finally fit it into the car

Geearbox is a jag 4 speed auto

Back axle standard with 3.54 gears and LSD

Front brakes are Peugeot coupe 310mm with Alfa Romeo calipers


inside 5 x 15 peugeot steel wheels

How did I miss this thread when it started?

Wy not use the classic Lotus Cortina colours?
It's only a teeny lie .... There's a Lotus engine in there after all, just not a 1600 TC.

Colour wise, the favorite at the moment if Ford Grabber blue or the new Volvo Blue.

It definitely wont be Lotus colours, as i dont do look a likes.
