Already have a smaller Invicta Venom as a daily but picked this up last week whilst in the states. Not everyones cuppa but I like it if only for the engineering involved, and its different over here.

It's the same watch but I've bought a case opener thingymabob to look inside. On video movements look brilliant and so interesting, then you do it in real life and everything is so small you cannot really see much. Anyhow, here is the video.

Picking up a 116710 GMT Master II later today, it's my first Rolex and quite chuffed - I know the ceramic bezel models are not the most favoured amongst the collector but I like 'em!

Nothing wrong with that choice at all, collectors collect all kinds and ceramics are certainly coming into their own as people realise the quality and warm to the new generation design

Of all the 'new' case, '11' series watches... I think this is my favourite (I don't count the SD4000 in this due to the 'rounder' case design).

Wear in good health and all that!

Thanks chaps...I've been looking at them for a long time and i would go through a pretty frequency cycle of want vs guilt at spending so much on a watch! But now I have it actually on my wrist I don;t have the slightest hint of buyers remorse!

Yeti and mathmos - very nice indeed.

I've bought bugger all for ages by my usual standards. Watches have taken a bit of a back seat of late. The BLNR GMT is certainly on the hit list, but I'm going to wait a bit longer and look to pick up a pre-owned one when there are few more about.
