If I recall, yes, with varying results. Those that have, have lived with it for a bit and then retrimmed it, IIRC.

Eventually it always turned out that only new carpets are the real solution.
I am searching for a long time now, as having faded carpets as well.

I used two cans of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Simply-Spray-Upholstery-... on my Chimaera last summer. really pleased with the results, it did not transfer on to my clothes once it had dried and it does not run if the carpets get wet. I did take a picture when doing it

What I did was spray it onto the carpet and used a nailbrush to rub it in and get an even spread. Used a toothbrush where the carpet meets the vinyl after having masked everything up.

I did mine with dylon. Worked well on navy blue but it does fade again quickly. Also it was when I discovered magic eraser as I got dye on the console, one light wipe and it was gone!

How does the carpet look now?
Any chance of a few more pics please, especially up to date pics so as to see how it all looks after a bit of wear and tear.

I use the car very little and it's kept under cover in a garage, so not much chance of wear and tear. I'll try and take a few more photos in the week though.
