Car Servicing cost comparison
Discussion
Hi Gerry, nothing too accurate, but very roughly a main dealer will be about £7-800, an indie approx £5-700. Variable, as ever, but dealers can be haggled to a certain extent and you can reduce the immediate cost by providing your own oil. Type of AM will undoubtedly make a difference (I say that but I'm a lowly V8V owner, and have never serviced a DB9/S etc). Others on here will probably be able to provide a bit more guidance, sorry to be a bit vague!

I am afraid I can only help you with main dealer prices, but possibly it might be cheaper for you in India. With the AM alloy chassis, ask them to try to be careful when jacking. Note the sink plunger. It's for AM dry sump engines.

I was at Grange today and told them I was going to have the six year service done at BR. They said that they will now price match against any other price and also said that they do a paint inspection as part of the service as well.
I have ready committed to BR so the p&j is off to them next week. But it is interesting to hear that a dealer will price match.
I also enquired about extending my warranty. With a discounted inspection it is £1,500. I decided to save the money in a separate account in case needed.

Put towards the exhaust upgrade. Go on........treat yourself. Fancy a note comparing session at the crooked chimney when you get her back???I have ready committed to BR so the p&j is off to them next week. But it is interesting to hear that a dealer will price match.
