I would really love to hear all about it, it is my ultimate dream car and I suspect the closest I will ever get to one is hearing from an owner who can share his or hers ownership experience.

Thanks

Thanks for replying.

How does it feel to be living my dream? smile

Would you be kind enough to do a wright up on it? Reader's cars type of thing?

I think I speak for everybody on PH when I say we would love to hear all about it!

Well since buying this car the first thing that comes to mind is the attention it brings, for example people taking photos videos etc, when you go to fill up with fuel that takes a least 15/20mins due to people wanting to know what it is ,never seen one before etc etc.however having owned various top end cars over the years the aeromax is a total different thing to drive, rapid excelleration, handles well better on the b roads than in town, turning circle though is crap!!,as with all hand made cars not two are alike. With regards to the shape of the car I never get tired of looking at it and that goes with the interior, regarding numbers there might only be 16 cars in the uk,so quite a rare thing.......

Having been lucky enough to drive Charles' car, I cannot agree more with the point about attention. Even after years photographing the smorgasbord of supercars in central London, I have never seen anything pull people in like an AeroMax. The forecourt example is the classic one. Leave the car for just a few mins to queue and pay and people seem to have appeared from nowhere. I parked it outside my parents' house in a leafy suburb and neighbours who'd never said more than "hello" in 10 years suddenly popped over to ask questions and introduce themselves!

Hats off to anyone who's more or less driving one of these every day. Awesome motor cars.

You do have to get used to being a rolling circus and engage with the world around you. Not a car for the retiring type...

There was an Aeromax almost same color in the Morgan Garage of Geneva (the day I picked up mine), ready for the customer (I think after a service)

Sold mine, great car, happy I owned it, but even more: that I used it one various roadtrips, best moments: bystanders whom are charmed by the Max, never had an envious reaction

Stelvio, Col du Turini, Route Napoleon, SpaFrancorchamps, Nuerburgring...
It seemed a dream, but it was real, best ride: on an 'open' SimplonPass...

Seriously considering having another pop at acquiring one of these - can any owners chip in with their experiences/preferences on the gearbox??........I am seeing a few Autos around.....but not so many manuals........and I am torn between the two.....what's the aficionados perspective??

Having had manual and auto aeros and now an Auto Aeromax, I am probably biased, but the auto is the correct box for the car in my view. It's a GT which on occasion you can pop in manual mode and drive it like a big caterham. It's friendly, controllable and doesn't bite and is way mor competent down a B road than most would ever guess, but its not a gt-3 attack weapon, its just something that feels special all the time and in terms of wow factor never feels out of place no matter whether you park next to a 50s c-type or a Veyron.

Oh - and get side pipes.

Relatives owned one - an auto.
Great car, like nothing else on the road. More presence then a pink Veyron driven by a naked supermodel. Crap build though and kinda "nowhere to go" car due to it's dimensions.
I've met the guy who was first to comission it though :-)
