Just to clarify the point about the Corsa driver. I was trying to say (probably not that clearly ) that he took ages to move into lane 3.The reason the BIB gave him a flash was that they were trying to get past and he was still partially straddling lane 4. Hope that's all clear?
I win!*victory dance*

I do it all the time, partly for cooling and partly for stretching, small car, no a/c. I don't see why it's a problem when you're shuffling along in traffic, it's hardly a safety issue so I think you're all just getting worked up for the sake of getting worked up or maybe you just like to plump your fragile little egos by telling yourselves how much better you are than these twuntish halfwit asshat laaaaads.
Oops I sometimes do this waiting to get out of the car park at work - must stop doing this immediately! Didn't know it offended.
Can see how it would look knobbish when driving as both hands should really be on controlling the car

PMSL If I didn't have so much experience working on helpdesks I would not believe people could be so stupid. However they are and this stupidity will spill out onto the roads if they are allowed to drive!
IQ test as part of driving test perhaps? Although even really clever people do silly things (they are called eccentric) so perhaps not the answer?

Taxi driver drives around barrier on swing bridge and gets stuck.
Professional driver.
"MOTORISTS have been warned to always obey warning lights after a Bradford taxi driver became trapped on a swing bridge over a waterway.
The "embarrassed" driver was left helpless as he had to sit in his vehicle while the bridge took him spinning out onto the Leeds and Liverpool Canal...
"To be honest, I can't think how he managed to get on there as the barrier is similar to the ones on railways crossings with flashing warning lights and a bar which comes down," Mr Ingle said..."

On one site it was stated that they tied it down while they had lunch to stop anyone from having it away too fast.
Rubbernecking knob.
Nasty looking crash, car and van collided and van hit a tree, as I waited to pass it(police & ambulance there already) a CRV came the other way and stopped completely so he could have a look, traffic behind him now stopped, traffic my way stopped. I gave him the what are you doing hand gesture and off he went, he did apologise.
