Aside from the speed, I don't really see what's wrong with that on a well-sighted and obviously empty road. I wouldn't do it there, but it's hardly doing 180mph through a shopping centre...Not only a driver of a liveried vehicle doing a relatively silly overtake,

If the police can't tell you which vehicle they're interested in, I don't see how they can realistically tell you who was driving it if you have multiple identical ones operating in the same area.

Shocked that I'm the only one who seems to have noticed that the illegally parked AUDI has contributed massively to the situation on that video. Seriously? Parking like that right opposite a junction? WTF are these idiots taught in 'driving school' these days?
Plus, regardless of whether anyone thinks the overtake was dangerous, or well-sighted, or outrageous because of speeding or whatever, the offence is committed as soon as the driver of the van drives on the opposite side of the road to that which the 'Keep Left' arrow instructs. Regardless of whether anyone is coming the other way, or how far he can see into the junction, driving on the wrong side of that arrow is pretty much the same as driving the 'wrong way' around a roundabout. Or turning into or out of a side road on the 'wrong' side of a traffic island (pedestrian refuge). It's a bit like speeding, in so far as it's an "absolute" offence (you either did it or you didn't), not like trying to prove that a particular piece of driving was or was not careless or dangerous.

The man who looked like he smells in an old burgundy Mondeo with 4 missing wheel trims who tried to overtake me while I was waiting behind a cyclist, imagine his surprise when he found there was a traffic island in the way, bloody simpleton.
Another one, an A4 who cut me up by going in the wrong lane on a roundabout, driver apologised which is fine, everybody makes mistakes, the passenger then throws his cigarette out the window, just missing my car (a pet hate of mine), A4 goes into turning lane, so I open my window and call the passenger a tramp.
Final one, 206 leaving B&Q, he was waiting to leave, there is a left and right lane just past the exit ( a link as it's hard to explain http://goo.gl/maps/orlXm ), about where the camera car is I indicate right to go right at the lights, 206 starts pulling out (he didn't actually look to his left) and I beep, we both stop as a collision was about to occur, I let him in front.
At the lights he suddenly goes into reverse and moves back as if he's going to hit me, stops and starts getting out his car, he changes his mind (probably saw I was a well built company director), I can see him in his mirrors now having what can only be described as a temper tantrum, this send me into a fit of the giggles.

Driving on a virtually empty dual carriage way (I live in France so it does happen!) in my old 911, at night, being tailgated by some cock end with his lights on full beam for mile after mile. Eventually I get irritated enough to tilt the rear view mirror enough to stop my retinas being burned out, but he doesn't take the hint and continues to tailgate. I put it down to some sort of "Porsche hater" bell end and shortly after reach my turn off, which is a small unlit country road.I duly slow down,indicate, turn etc, and f

After about half a mile i've had enough and slow to a stop to let the prick past (plenty of room, no other cars) and be done with it. Instead he stops up close behind me, lights still blazing. Pulled up to a junction wanting to turn right, looked and pulled out, as I pulled out there was an Audi S3 turning into the street I am pulling out of.

The Ford Transit people carrier driver who decided queueing along Bullsmore Lane in Enfield last night was for everyone else except him.
I saw in my rear view mirror drive up the middle of the road, then pull into the (only) lane.
Then he came past me, close to a right turn filter lane... but kept going until he had to duck in for a traffic island. Then he pulled out again, went the wrong side of the next traffic island and forced cars coming the other way to stop.
I caught up with a similar van on the M25, I assume it was him, driving at 65 in the 4th lane holding everyone up. But taking offence and swerving about when people passed him on the left.
Because I was stuck in traffic behind a van, not sure my dashcam caught his queue jumping antics. Certainly not what happened behind me. Shame.

Or, more likely, change down a gear.I have noticed that drivers of diesel cars tend to maintain speed reasonably well on motorway inclines, but you will find yourself sailing past most petrol cars if you stay at or above 70 on a steep climb.
