I think OPC's have gone down the route of homogenisation and standardisation.

As a result they all have to subscribe to the rules of operation laid down in the big black book called the Porsche dealers operation manual.

In other words, they are getting to be all the same because Porsche want it that way.

So just pick the one nearest you.

Speak to Doug Assinder at AFN Reading (the one in the end of porsche UK). He was brilliant with our boxster sale.

You could try Stuart Mann at Porsche Centre Reading - good guy.

Unless its lindbrook in Kent.

Very unimpressed with every encounter.

Colchester in Essex have always been very good, quoting all costs up front for servicing.

Actually, you have a point there come to think of it.

Any car I have bought from the Dick Lovett group has always had exceptional service - be it a Porsche, BMW or a Mini.

I have placed an order for a 987 with AFN Guildford, any one any experience of buying and after sales service costs with them?

I have experinced turning up in a cerbera at AFN in GFord only to be totally ignored by all the staff and ending up walking out (and I wish I could say I bought a £100K car somewhere else).

Same treatment from GFord here eventually gota GT3 from Reading. Also thought Stuart Mann was a top bloke until I got involved in after sales and asked for assistance when getting nowhere. I suppose he was trying to be honest when I got the "not my problem"
