Well, that's what the headline says anyway.

Actually seems as if all the double rooms were booked & they've taken it the wrong way, as is often the case with people in minority groups IMO?

Actually from reading the article, they booked a double room but were then told they couldn't have one when they checked in.

It sounds as if they checked in quite late though, perhaps the hotel had assumed they weren't coming and had given their room to someone else? Is that standard policy/in the small print of hotels?

I had the same problem once (not with another man).

Me & the mrs had to take a twin as opposed to the double we had booked.

I hate being palmed-off, but I didn't once accuse the hotelier of being hetrophobic.

There seems something queer about the original story, for all we know the hotel may have bent over backwards to accommodate them
