Heading to Euro Disney after Easter for a week, 2 adults, 4 year old and a baby of 3 months( could not be left with grandparents!) question is, what is a realistic budget for one week in this 'overpriced' resort? Any hints and tips much appreciated.

Don't stay in Eurodisney, that will halve your hotel bill. There are plenty of hotels at nearby RER (train) stations. The bus service from the hotel during peak hours would be illegal for shipping cattle, so using the train is probably easier!

Take your own food/drink with you. At the very least pop in to the mini-mart in the RER station at the park entrance for essentials.

Good advice, thanks.

Food isn't just overpriced there, it's god awful! nothing worse than paying premium price for poor food.

The hotels around are walking distance so no need for bus, I've paid £700 for 4 nights and 5 days in the park for 3 of us (me, wife + 2 year old).

Usually we go Florida but it's first outing to Disney for our 2 year old but I went to France Disney about 4 years ago and having been before this time I've opted to drive as lots of free parking at the hotel for guests and means I can drive away and get a decent meal in the evenings! We went by Eurostar last time which drops you literally at hotel doors.

The advice on taking food and drink in is very good idea, as a rough guide a burger and chips is about 12 euro's with a drink (£10.50 on current exchange rate) worse case fall back is on the outside of the entrance the walk in area is a McDonalds that retains the usual prices.

Someone we know has booked for August for 4 nights. Wouldn't listen when we said it would be so crammed as to be uncomfortable but hey ho.
Train across, Newport Bay, half board, character tea.

I've been, so know the prices, but when they said nigh on 3k nearly dropped bow legged. Thought there was a huge exaggeration factor in place.

Looked online, picked every expensive option, added in a fair wedge of spending money and while not 3k well over 2.
Hells teeth.
