Reason asking is because where i am at the moment there's no Aston dealerships, nor any independents!

TBH at that mileage, I'd just do the oil with filter, and remove and clean air filters...then a visual check over of brakes tyres etc...

In regards with the service indicator message , does it require Aston's diagnostics or a simple OBD will do?
Also, having a look on astonmartinbits for the air filter there's the Aston and the J1. Any thoughts on the J1?
Personally after 3 years, I'd go for the ....
Change oil, Change oil filter, Change air filters x 2, change spark plugs, check the auto oil, DEFO change the Diff oil (should be done every 2 years), Change the brake fluid, change the aircon filter (under the pulldown - slots in and out), change the windscreen wipers, at 3 years I'd also change the coolant, at 3 years I'd also change the drive belt (you'll be glad you did when it breaks at 2.00 a.m. on some freezing November night). DEFO change the (bugger forgot the name of it
) its the tiny filters that go to the air recirculation that comes from the cam shaft covers and back into the air intakes - I changed ine to go to a catch tank - sorry forgot the name. The brakes are a given, if they are even close to being used, then change them. Oil the door handles (I kid you not), oil the exhausts vacuum valve closers (forgot the name again),
I'm sure I'll think of something in a mo .......
What I have done in the past is to buy the parts yourself and then take them to the garage. I did this with a Franchise Jaguar dealer, in any normal situation you'd never do that and indeed the garage would get pi55y if you did this, but when it comes to Aston's it seems very acceptable to get the stuff and hand it to the Garage. However any Independat such as Bamford-Rose of GeneratinAMR would look at you funny if you did. But your local Halfords will be glad you did it.

OBD won't do it, (OBD is only a code reader not writer, it can clear the OBD error codes - but that is all), but if you read the manual you'll find there are some buttons to press and it'll go.As for the air filters, supposed to be changed every 2 years, personally I do it every 12 months, then there are the paper verse the K&N's, personally i'd stick with paper, at £80.00, you get brand new filters and you throw the old ones out, not clean the old ones and re-oil them.

Why not just strip an 11k miles car down and rebuild it??? Air filters are changed every 20k so why not just inspect, and clean... And only replace if required (highly unlikely)
A for all the oil recurculation stuff.... V8's don't suffer the same issues as V12.... And this isn't even part of the normal service schedule...
If the car was serviced correctly at 24 months... Brake fluid will be ok until next service, same for antifreeze
Wipers.... Replace if required..
As I say... If the car received a proper scheduled service at 2 years old.... All fluids that need changing at 24 months have only done 12 months and bugger all mileage....
I'd do the minimum, and then do a full service at 48 months.... When the car will have 15k on it

Hello Boys, sorry let me clarify. Its personally what I would do, not what is recommended in the service manual.I drive my car quite a lot and drive it on a, "day by day", basis, so I'm changing my oil every 6k or 6 months which ever is sooner. I put in new oil for the last road-trip, and will change again before the next trip which means that it will be about 5000 miles old when changed, and about 3 months old. That does not mean that I will be chnaging the air filters then, but I will be changing the Diff oil, which will be about 12 months from the last change.
So, I drive it every day, and I want it to run like a Turbine, which it does ...
... it does not stop it going wrong ... ... the damn thing creaks and groans loads ... 
... and don't even talk about the bloody tyres it goes through, but having said that, if we (I) want to use a 8 years old Supercar as a daily runner, then I expect a high maintainence bill - which is what I get....... its what I, "personally", would do, not what the service manual recommends.

I have not actually paid to get my car serviced at AM yet (not due until Nov 2013), but when you see the cost of the parts and presumably the final bill will be circa £900??
It does make you wonder if you are paying hundreds more for an AM technician to check the you have air in your tyres at the cost of £150 / hour?

Beoon, it was a helpful post Must admit, prices have, "marginally", come down, its now cheaper to service your car than before. For me, and I mean, "for me", its now more easy to justify changing the stuff every year. A super dooper service could cost a couple of hundred pounds
