Best London Hotels and Deals

Im taking my partner to London in June for the weekend for her 40th and having not stayed at a plush hotel there for some time was wondering what the best value 5* hotel is at the moment and how to get the best deal.

My current thoughts are booking a room at the Savoy early to get their early booking online discount for £400 per night including breakfast.

How much! I have booked over Easter for two nights @ 285 per night b&b plus vat, lunch there and £300 dinner credit at Simpsons ! Bargain through Amex. Had sunday lunch at Ramseys/savoy grill, a few weeks ago, very nice indeed.

Lastminute.com Top Secret Hotels. Restrict search to 4 or 5 star. You can normally find out which hotels they are by putting the sketchy description in google.

Stayed at the renaissance st pancreas a few weeks ago, make sure it's in the chambers, exclusive bar restaurant for chambers only. Stayed in the royal suite, I know a bathroom should not be the uppermost on the details, but wow! Dont expect a supremely quiet room as it has to maintain single glazing. It is almost like a resort, so many different things to do, restaurants bars etc. would do it again. Another to try is the Arch, also very nice.
