About 20 deg C up, in 6 months, aaaagh rapid climate change!!!

And we cope quite well...no hypothermia deaths to speak of and not as many lost in heatwaves either, be it real or pretend heatwaves.

Time for Batman to explain all once again.

Bob Ward still not on this planet. More bias than a set of crown green bowls.

Why do you put yourself through it!

Anyway, I'm watching Wheeler Dealers.....
Had to switch over before Wifey gave me a slap!!

Take it this and the comments summed it up?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/tv-a...
Well, the comments at the Telegraph were somewhat enlivened by someone using the identity "andy765gtr".

I have read them and then clicked on the name to discover other posts the name has made on other subjects.

Most interesting observations but I'm still not sure whether is is a serious position or the result of someone trying a humourous (but quite well concealed) line in taking the pi55.

Either way it may be worth following the name to see how things develop.

I thought this (poorly punctuated) line to start a second paragraph was a masterly touch - just not quite sure what the touch was about.

"the program was actually very poor, but not in the way you addled brained, science illiterate, short term thinking, right wing fascists imagine. it was poor because it stressed uncertainty where it was unnecessary to do so. "

Enjoy.

Ok, then, Billy Bob...

It follows that refusing to disseminate statements from climate change zealots that are inaccurate and misleading is not censorship

Agreed?

Was a reading a thread in the science section about a mystery hole appearing in Siberia that the warmist loons are blaming on MMuGW and came across this site. Thought you might like it as it's a list of things that global warming is said to have caused hehe

Just so many problems/dishonesty with that program, must be a breach of something.

The Arctic ice melt deception AGAIN (summer/winter difference shown to give impression that was climate change difference).

A complaint won't get anywhere though so what's the point?

Lacking something isn't it? Like actual examples of Lawson's wrong/dishonest statements!

You have to laugh at how these types are so deluded that they've got it completely rse about face.

That's been a believer strategy for some time now - invert reality, polish the brass neck and stick it out.

WTF has happened to this oppressive 'heat wave'?

Been pissing down for the last two nights, and the sun is nowhere to be seen this morning!

One sunny day constitutes a heat wave these days, does it?

From the comments I came across this little beauty on Micro Smart Grids.......

http://www.antarcticstation.org/station/smart_grid...

"When a user requests energy, he/she has to push a switch located next to the power socket and wait for the system to check for energy availability. If energy can be delivered according to the system's priorities, the switch turns green, if not, the switch remains red and the user has to wait."

You can shove your Smart Meter where the Sun doesn't produce energy yikes

No wonder the Government has plans to phase out domestic gas and build All electric housing!

shout I want a cuppa tea - when do I wannit? NOWWW!!!!

And so many fall for those smart meter/smart energy ads that pretend to be all about consumer control, when the opposite is probably the case!

Same as those bank ads that congratulate themselves for teaching OAP's how to bank online - when the true reason is (probably) wanting to shut more local branches to same money...

All pretty transparent when you're used to 40 years of ads....

This is from last year, but it's a good dismantling of Energiewende as far as I can see. I'd be plotting a revolt if I was a german.

Cracking piece in the Telegraph from Owen Paterson on how he was proud to have stood up to the 'Green Blob.'

Personally I hope that Cameron's sacking of Owen is the nail in CMD's coffin. Yes one understands that in an election year if you've got ministers that are implementing policies that are causing arguments then it can be politically astute to stop the arguments, put in a boring minister who will defuse the situation, hopefully, by doing nothing.

Problem is the electorate isn't stupid and some, not all admittedly, can see the shallowness of the tactics. Problem is if what the departed minister was doing was correct and for the benefit of the nation, then what do you do if reelected? In this case Cameron would have no intention of taking on the Green Blob.

Paterson said:
I received more death threats in a few months at Defra than I ever did as secretary of state for Northern Ireland. My home address was circulated worldwide with an incitement to trash it; I was burnt in effigy by Greenpeace as I was recovering from an operation to save my eyesight. But I did not set out to be popular with lobbyists and I never forgot that they were not the people I was elected to serve.
Holy strewth..!

That's a bloody disgrace. I wouldn't do it to Al Gore. Well, maybe I would....hehe

Question for Turbobloke....

Irrespective of any political motivation / influences, I'm interested in knowing if you feel that we (Homo Sapiens) have any effect on the environment in which we live.
