Heathrow Valet Parking - Any difference?

Is there any difference between the "offical" BAA Valet parking at Heathrow terminal 3 and the myriad of unofficial companies?

I think that you drop your car off at a Portacabin, rather than meet a bloke with a clipboard - but is that the only difference?
