Has anyone had a Parrot hands free kit fitted in their Aston?

I've telephoned a number of local approved installers and they are unsure whether it can be done or not, despite there being a wiring diagram on the Parrot website and I'm not confident in letting them experiment on my car. If someone has one and it works ok then I will be a little more reasured.

The main reason for a Parrot rather than others is that offers Ipod connectivity as well as Bluetooth phone.

I know James offers this but at £599 (from the paralight website) it seems a bit pricey, especially when I can get a local professional audio outfit to do it for half that. Apologies James, I dont begrudge you making a living and I'm not in anyway implying that you are unreasonably expensive, perhaps as it involves some traveling on your part it bumps the price.

My main issue is does it work, ie does anyone have it installed without issue?

Thanks

My DB9 has a Car Phone fitted, but the microphone was almost useless sitting behind the rear view mirror until my dealer installed another microphone near the A pillar. My calls are much clearer now, but I often use a Parrot Minikit Slim with my iPhone as there are no phone controls on the steering wheel. The Minikit fits on the visor very neatly.

I have the Parrot system (Mki9100) fitted in my V8V with the iPod connection etc. So yes it can be fitted in an Aston. The dealer had mine fitted by a company near the dealership prior to collecting my car in January 2013.

My car also has the premium audio system fitted and the Parrot system is also linked in with the sub woofer too smile

Thats exactly what I'm after, do you know who installed it and how much they charged?
