Yep, I really liked that, no idea how realistic it was to the army, but the whole thing was really well done. Thumbs up.

I thought this was quite good - some good acting Lacey Turner. Quite surprised it was so good - this and Bluestone 42 I was expecting to be a lot poorer.

And it always gets quite smokey in my house when "In Flanders Fields" is read.

Who played her dad. He was very good. I wonder if he hung around with lots of West Hams fans as preparation for his part. He certainly nailed it. hehe

I thought she was alive, I saw the letter reading and Brize Norton at the end as another girl who died, with the parents saying "Our girl will be ok" and showing her on duty.

No, I think she had finally written her death letter, that all, not that she had died.

My missus got all emotional over the ending and now doesn't want me to go to afghan anymore.

Thought it was a good programme, well made.

That wasn't my take on it..

With Molly reciting her 'if I don't make it' letter and the shot of the hearse, the makers were certainly leading the viewer that way..

But then it panned to the Corporal reading her letter (and smiling) and then the next shot was of her parents, with their final line being 'she'll be alright'.

Been left nicely poised for a follow up, IMHO..

Edit to what I said, the letter was Molly's, not the Brize Norton news.

Ahh, the dog started creating at the end so must have missed that bit. Great news, really hope that a series is made. The characters were superb.

It was because the corporal had been nagging her to write the said letter, that he was finally reading it. That was all.

The part where they were practicing the battle field with the already wounded soldiers was excellent! I thought the CGI was a bit too good, and then they just drag them out of the way when it is all over! lol
