Such a pity that the glorious leader cannot cause it to rain frown

And joking aside, drought and famine are not nice things to suffer - hopefully North Korea's insularity does not extend to refusing food aid if it is offered

Given recent rhetoric and provocation by North Korea I would imagine the will to send aid has been greatly diminished.

I believe the Americans have already stated they won't be sending any

The airport is the secretive nation’s latest attempt to appeal to tourists and holiday-makers. Apparently it features luxury amenities including a jewellery store, coffee bar, a pharmacy and a chocolate fountain.
Essential on the list of tourist requirements.

Murderous regime - check
Human rights abuse - check
Chocolate fountain - check

Amazing - they've managed to copy a 60 year old Cessna

I don't think one of those - a Cessna at any rate - will actually fly with four adults on board, either. (I used to go up with a mate in one of those and he reckoned four adults was a bit of a no-no)

They shipped some samples of Anthrax from Dugway to various labs which were supposed to be inert, but turned out to be live; embarrassing and technically a proliferation risk but in reality a storm in a teacup. This was inevitably interpreted by the Russians as a imperialist running dog plot.

Answered already.

But if you click on the "past news" then pick a date, there is enough of a clue as to what they pick on and why. And there are lots of floral tributes for some reason. Cultural thing perhaps?

Yeah I remember that now. Funny how the DPRK story is so completely out of kilter with reality :P

seems most daft that they have bothered to translate into English, the only response they would ever get from that is laughter!

he probably picked up a 16gb memory stick that the south drop over the border and then had a serious decision to make as to whether to delete the 14 seasons of Friends that were on it to make space for the chemical data
