From memory it started to really get going in episode 4.

Good finale to this series. I'm glad I stuck with it through the ridiculous, pretentious sections.

Far fetched as usual but the last two episodes were a good return to form. Beautifully shot, sinister and gruesome.

The final destination of one of the lips...the manner of Hannibal made me chuckle

Also set up a possible return, if you consider the final act could be one of Will's daydreams. Imagined by lack of blood.

As much as I want more, it did finish very well I thought.

hopefully they'll wrap it up nicely and not leave it on a never ending cliff hanger.

Yep, that did it for me quite nicely.

I was starting to get a bit tired of the "take a bullet, get stabbed, get up and overpower the attacker" scenes that crept into series 3.

Disappointed that its come to an end as it was my favourite tv series, but it was very well done and rounded everything off nicely.

I didn't get that bit - can anyone explain what was happening?

Hannibal told her he was getting out, and that they should 'get legless'

Thanks, but who prepared the leg, when? Did Hannibal and Graham actually attend? So many questions (which I guess is deliberate)?

I took it that she'd done that herself as a meal for Hannibal

...but when? Before Hannibal and Will confronted the Dragon or after?

The table was set for 3, did Hannibal and Will actually attend?

Mutilate herself?? What makes you think that after everything she's said? I thought it was quite clear it was Hannibal.

she looked well under influence of drugs so presume she had prepared herself as an offering to hannibal and will,i wonder if hannibal will keep his other promises....

Its was the cliffhanger to feed into Series 4, which will never happen, so we will never know!

Why would she offer herself to Hannibal like that given what she said to Will in their last encounter?

i thought she did it as an offering to spare her life but after episode in italy where she ate the diet and participated in killings she may be preparing herself to be killed anyway!remember eddie izzard's character.....

Reading the Reddit forum, the general consensus is that it is Hannibal's doing - she isn't a surgeon, so isn't capable of doing it to herself, she appeared drugged/anxious/scared and apparently you saw her hand (polished nails) grab a fork and hide it under a napkin (getting ready for self defence).

Alternatively, she has cracked and did it to herself.
