The French are revolting

Chuffing french port control - trust them to throw a spanner in the works Got a 1pm ferry booked for friday and no doubt a huge backlog or as the UK rozzers are calling it, Operation Stack to get through.
Unfortunately i don't have the option to leave earlier so this has the potential to really impact on the actual time I have abroad, let alone the hotels booked...
Lets hope its not effected too badly...

Although the Telegraph website front page is still carrying the story from yesterday warning of travel disruption.
Which makes me wonder whether it will be worth looking at once it goes behind its paywall

That news, although good doesn't help my mum & dad (and my three neices and nephews) who got the 12.00am boat last night instead of 0800 this morning, and have had to sleep in the car somewhere in a service station as they couldn't get into a hotel.
I feel for my dad's back, but at least they'll be somewhere warm by teatime.
