Only one of the cats came in for breakfast this morning so thought we'd have a hunt for the missing boy. So sad to find him in a neighbour's drive asleep for the last time. He was only 18 months old, must have been hit by a car. At least he was in one piece, I hope it was quick!

Been crying like a baby all morning!

we dont let our two out, one wont and the small one could be taken by anything bigger than a fox

I feel your pain and am truly sorry.Lost out beautiful boy Ronnie not long ago when he was hit by a van.I too was in pieces, not only for the loss, but also due to his Brother looking for him.The van driver did stop and several people were with him when he died at the side of the road.It was at least quick and seemed to be a head injury, so we were not faced with looking at a damaged body.

He was only just over a year old and was 'my' cat if that makes sense. We played together every day and he would sit on me for hours. It does get easier and we got a rescue cat to keep his Brother company and the sight of seeing them play and sleep together does take some of the pain away.Still miss him heaps though.

Still after about 6 years I still remember "fluffy" my pure white Persian, she was hit by a bus outside the house, she was a misery, always moaning and in a mood yet I loved her to bits.

We lost another one the same day, Jarvis, Fluffy's best friend, he witnessed her being hit by the bus and he dissapeared that day never to be seen again.
