£55 Delivered. Don't have one but they do get some good reviews and apparently work with the gopro mounts. I've bought loads of stuff from DX and they're a bit slow - based in HK IIRC - but it has always arrived and worked.

Borrow your dads video camera.

Make sure the tape is wiped first.

The sj4000 does look good and they are going for like £60
I like the look of the sony and the hundred quid price tag from £150 does look good, plus its in argos, however no mention of accessories and how much it would be for mounts
SVC200 quality in that video looks superb, what accessories does it come with

Anyone got the sj4000? I’ve looked at a few reviews online and video tests they seemed to be as good as the go pro from what the reviewers say

However nothing Ive seen of the clips looks like the SVC200 that was posted up that’s so sharp, clear and crisp

Get a cheap MD80 from ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MD80-mini-dv-dvr-sports-...

With a good quality storage card (the packaged one is usually rubbish and causes stuttering) it will be fine.

Example quality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqtEVJl8Bc0

it would appear our definitions of dirt cheap are differ somewhat.

I was thinking eh like £30 or £40.
Have you thought of taping your phone to your head using a roll of tape from Poundland?

well I went for the sj4000 the svc2000 looked the better camera but I got a lovely pink one for £57

for under £60 it will do for recording the odd track day and generally improving my lines.

it will match my helmet

looked at lots of revies and the sj seemed to be a decent camera, the svc best for £100 mark but the sj isn't much off it apparently

You might want to point it at the road ahead.

anyone else had this problem with the sj4000.

for 20 minute videos its great but I went a run on Friday, 2 hours long and when I went to play it back the file was corrupt.

same again, got a fair few from my sessions yesterday on track but the one in which I crashed, then left the camera on while the bike got picked up and whilst I fixed the bike still recording has became corrupt. still loads of space on my card but for some reasons if the video goes beyond 20 minutes it doesn't play.

anyone know how to fix a corrupt file?

Never would have happened with the Betamax I suggested.
