I don't need a 5th set of gloves but I just couldn't resist

I think I have a fetish looking at a 6th pair.

Some decent savings to found here. Arai Chaser V for under £200 etc. Some fairly hefty discounts on some of the other kit depending on how competitive the original price quoted is.

Was just on www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk and they are accepting any discount code from competitors. You just have to email it to them and they will honour it.

You mean the 200-piece one? I wouldn't pay £150 for that, even if I was 'saving' another £150.

That said, the Garmin Nuvi 2508 satnav with lifetime maps and digital traffic updates for £99 isn't a bad deal, although it is UK and Eire only. But as it'd cost £50 just to update the maps on an older-series Nuvi, in the long-term it'd be ideal.

Brand snobbery!

I use my tools everyday, and have a good mix of Snap On, King Dick, Beta and Halfords Pro.

The Halfords Pro NEVER let me down, ive taken one ratchet back after 5 years and they replaced it on the spot too, unlike our local snap on van who cried about me returning something after 2 weeks.

Halfords pro breaker bars were st but have been updated from what I can see. I've not managed to break my new 21" yet.

Their hex 5mm bits, and allen keys are also wk but I've never seen any that weren't.

The only thing that puts me off is having to keep a receipt for upteen years to make use of the "lifetime guarantee", other than that I swear by them.

I have only an adjustable spanner by them/Bahco, but it's really nice (much better than the king dick one I was using)
"King dick"??

What on earth were you doing with that spanner?

I like my halfords 150-piece (under £100 when I got it). However, something like this would be enough (of a basis) for most of my needs:

I have only an adjustable spanner by them/Bahco, but it's really nice (much better than the king dick one I was using)
I agree 100%. I've seldom used an imperial socket making some of the bigger kits largely pointless.

Halfords really are good with the warranty though, they even replaced the case for my 170pc kit after I drove over it!

Is there anything to confirm sportsbikeshop accepting other codes? I have emailed them but not got a response.
