Then *BANG* he transforms back to David Tennant and it has all been a dream.
FTFY
Double post I know, but...
When they had the brief flash back of Tennant a few episodes ago it did make me think he is going to be in it again very very soon.
Still the best doctor imo.

Eccleston and Tennant were great. Smith and Capaldi are (at best)ok but, to be fair, that might be due to cr@p storylines than them personally.

I'd agree with that assessment - I think Capaldi's pretty good, but the plots are poor to weak mostly...

Clara Oswald is probably the Doctor's prettiest companion, but I miss Amy Pond's feistiness.

I don't miss Billie Piper...

Capaldi is great, the writing is weak.

I think there may be some selective memory going on, though, because all of the rebooted doctors have had some crap stories.

From the BBC Media website:

It’s Christmas Day on a remote human colony and the Doctor is hiding from Christmas Carols and Comedy Antlers. But when a crashed spaceship calls upon the Doctor for help, he finds himself recruited into River Song’s squad and hurled into a fast and frantic chase across the galaxy. King Hydroflax (Greg Davies) is furious, and his giant Robot bodyguard is out of control and coming for them all! Will Nardole (Matt Lucas) survive? And when will River Song work out who the Doctor is?

All will be revealed on a starliner full of galactic super-villains and a destination the Doctor has been avoiding for a very long time.

Matt Lucas and Greg Davies? Well I'm looking forward to that. Not.

Indeed. Think I'll re-watch the other great episode featuring Peter Kay... biggrin

Oh no. As soon as I hear "Hello sweetie" I'm reaching for something heavy to chuck at the telly.

Most annoying character ever.

The Dr is married to River who is Amy and the drippy one's daughter.

Marriage usually means children and the child plot has already been used above and they're not short of re-using plots. So River and the Dr in this form or another had a daughter in the past or future that he doesn't yet know about "Spoilers!" (SHUT UP), their daughter is Clara, wibbly wobbly timey whimey just managed to avoid a little father daughter incest there 2 series back Mr Smith, stuff. And Clara has some Time Lord DNA inside her, so she's not really dead.

There, I said it. Poke me in the eye and call me Sheila if I'm wrong.
