Running - legs hurt but not tired
Discussion
Hello,
Brief summary, I'm not a proper runner, just trying to trim down as much as possible (not fat really, estimate my body fat to be about 18% want to get down to about 12%). I would say I'm already pretty fit, in good shape, can play 2 hours of footy/squash whatever without problems.
Here's the thing, I go running for maybe 30mins, 3 miles, my legs (below the knees) are aching, hurting. But the rest of me is fine. I'm not even short of breath. I feel like the rest of me could go on for hours but legs say no.
I go to the gym and I do squats & deadlifts. Over the last 3 months I've managed to increase the load by around 50%.
So, how can I make my legs last longer when jogging so I can shift a bit more body fat?
Thanks

I have the same problem, I've been advised to upgrade my trainers. Can make a massive difference apparently.
Sounds like a scam to get you to buy, but... with running finding a real sports shop and getting some advice on your gait and the best support from running shoes is apparently (Other Half, not me is the horse's mouth here) one of those light-bulb moments...Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
