Having slight issues (ongoing, for the last 29 years) with one of my lug 'oles.

Would appreciate a bit of advice before I contemplate going to my GP.

Cheers.

My advice is; go see your GP not fuel your paranoia and waste your time on a forum.

Oh, it's not paranoia - I've lived with the problem for nigh on 30 years.
It's just another opinion I'm after, from a knowledgeable person who's neutral.

I suspect going to my GP will see me stuck in an ever decreasing circle!

Right. Well, the info of "having slight issues" is somewhat sketchy.

If it's been going on for 30 years, it aint life threatening. So a GP will with get things in progress to get you fixed, or will fk-up and get you £20K in a claim.

I still see no reason to not go and see your GP.

Here's the thing - it's been 'fixed' 11 times. But it appears to be broken again, but in a different way.

Consultants don't appear to believe me though.

They don't seem to understand that one knows when ones own body is playing up!
As for life threatening - it certainly can be if not treated correctly.

But you're probably right - might be best to at least try my GP first (and let's face it, where else can I try?)

mattikake, you've said your piece. Now zip it and let the man ask his question as is his right on here.
