Finished my match about 9:30 and ordered a kebab from the just eat app as I left. I've been home 20 mins and it's not here yet, 50 mins and counting, I'm not hungry anymore and I want to go to bed!

It's 9 piece Tuesday - £5.99.

Was tempted earlier.
I know now,as I pulled away from the hatch ,there's a big fk off banner next to me,very visible from the road aswell, must have been driving with my eyes shut, wiith 9 piece Tuesday on it ,should've changed my order as they had cook some more judging by the wait.
st, I forgot about this frown

I have been meaning to take advantage if this offer for the past few weeks but I have been abroad, the first time I am cooking in the uk for ages and I make a beef rib and Cajun chips instead of ordering this. I'm annoyed with myself right now.

It's the hood of donner that makes it semi authentic. Not the chunky chicken lips.

Parmo - thought you might be from the Boro! My introduction to Parmos has been one of the best things about seeing a Northern 'lass', cracking culinary invention. Welcome btw

My local (city centre) McDonald's had a high-tech (digital) makeover! eek

Noticed this today (I don't eat there)!

They have a system like this in my local one, where you order at a machine (if you'd like) and collect from a collection point. Granted, the machines aren't quite as high tech/new age modern as those.

It's miles faster and more efficient - much shorter wait times - they really should add more, upgrade the machines to take cash and do away with the tills.

We're rolling them out across the estate at the moment. Not everyone likes using them so we have to retain tills and people but longer term there's more tech coming to McDs

Thats good - it's a good system, does make the process faster for sure... only issue I have is I can't get my free cheeseburger with my student card with the machine! frownwink

Having said they were not as high tech/modern I went in (inspired by this thread) today and lo and behold I was greeted by the new machine pictured in soads post!

Apart from the kebab after my match earlier this week which I didn't eat all of as I wasn't hungry and wanted to go to bed, I've not really been on the fast food since Christmas (lost 1.5 stone too actually) but this Saturday the lovely fiancee is out for the daywith friends and staying out...

So I'm doing 18 holes in the morning, visiting the parents mid afternoon and then settling down with the dog, a few large glasses of Scotch, a large Just Eat order and Just Call Saul on Netflix and I can't bloody wait.

It's likely to be an Indian, I might go and pick it up before I start drinking so I can pop next door and get come kebab shop chips to go with it, and perhaps some of those amazing deep fried breaded mushrooms they do.

Either way it needs to be enough to make me feel stuffed but also so there is a bit to warm up the morning after when she's still not back and I'll be vegged on the sofa watching even more TV. Salivating at the thought... mainly because I've had another match tonight and all I've had all day is a prawn mayo wrap and a fruit smoothie.

Just have to get through tomorrow's day of many meetings...

Brilliant. Mrs Soov is away next Friday night and I am planning exactly the same, minus the dog.

A perfect example of a balanced lifestyle.

You swing one way, then the other. In between is boring and too safe for me.

We need these 'highs' and after reading that, I'll be ordering a curry tonight. Only with the Mrs.

Don't worry, she won't be dictating anything other than her own mild creamy dish.

Thinking along the lines of:

Glenmorangie (3 or 4 doubles)

Poppadoms and pickles

King prawn puree

Lamb rejala
Fish buna
Tarka Dhal
Egg rice
Paratha

What do you reckon?

I'm even doing three proper courses as a trial a-la Soov!

Enjoy!

A TCT (three course takeaway) is just wrong. It's meant to be dirty, all mixed together, fk it, get it down.

You buggers bringing in TCT must eat at the Ritz all the time, posh buggers.
