Here's a couple of the best kebabs I have ever had.

This weighs in at just under 5lb

This chicken kebab was from a shop on the curry mile in Manchester, was working round the corner for a week so made the most of the top food on offer.

Are you still in rushholme? If so, you've got to try the kobeda kebab from rushholme chippy. Looks a bit of a sthole from outside when compared to the gaudy lights of the rest of them on the strip, but its one of those little belters that only get discovered through word of mouth.
It's still all about Camel One though.
Nope, Al Quds is still the one for me. It was closed on my last two visits across the pennines a few months back. Need to confirm that it's open and head back again soon.
Let's not start a fight, but anyone who thinks Rusholme Chippy isn't the best is obviously heading for a third in their BSc in Kebabology from Northenden Poly.
Having said that not been to Al Quds for a while......

Sajaan in fallowfield is also excellent.

no no no no. This isn't amateur hour. Sajaan is very average.

I'll try Al Quds (if I can find it) later this week and report back.

I'm about halfway through this thread, and couldn't resist getting a kebab anymore...

Mixed Chicken and lamb doner bab
Chips
Extra Pitta
Chilli Sauce
£9.50 frown

That looks like some properly decent chilli sauce! Shame about the pitta though, that's crying out for naan.

I decided to test out Amazon Now.

Does this count as a dirty takeaway?

Just in case you don't accept my offering of dirty takeaway, this is what I'm eating right now... Because I don't need to be drunk for it!

It was a mixed shish kebab wrap and chips. I don't know why he gave me salad. I don't do salad.

Not strictly a take away but a 4 topping ASDA pizza with an additional (from home) 5 toppings, 2 types of cheese and a drizzle of sriracha

In my defence it was quicker and significantly cheaper than Dominos!

I wish they would do the hot dog crust in the larger size.

The fresh asda pizzas from the counter are really quite nice, and a bargain at £4. even the extra special ones that are near the counter that cost £4 are really very good. i always put extras on mine like cheese or other deli meats and chilli sauce.

I have never tried to re-heat them though.. cant imagine they would hold up well to it.

A light mist of water helps the base of cheap pizzas when oven cooking. That or just throw them in the bin and drink more beer.

I suppose this is breakfast as well as being a takeaway...

Didn't have a meeting until 10am so had one (two) of these at home instead.

Hopefully the OH doesn't check in on me because I'm supposed to be losing weight for the wedding!

Had a mocha and a berry smoothie as the drinks, both very nice!
