Minus the price of a decent standard engine build (Factory Spec) at £2500, done by a reputable builder like API in Harbury. smile

£3000-£3500 I would say. Lots of ok examples around at £5k, good ones are 7-8k.

As WRX said find the value of rebuilding the stock engine and take that off the price + a bit more for inconvenience otherwise nobody will buy it.
If its a minter it would probably be a good investment to sell with a fresh engine.
So probably around £5k tops

A quick look in the classified reveals the cheapest car is currently on for £6995 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds?Category=us...

So your car "could" be worth £4,000

If your car is mint i'd say £4000ish.

If it was mine i'd get a good bottom end, maybe a late 2.5 sti and put your heads onto it, but then i don't have labour to worry about.

Totally agree. But I'd add a 20g. In fact...I am!

20G on a 2.5 is a very nice combination. Not much lag and very well matched.
