I am travelling down to Sussex from Aberdeen next week week to pick up my new car. Since I'm down that way the better half suggested we have a night in London. Can anybody suggest any decent hotels in central London with car parking?

I'd be tempted to stay somewhere outside London and tube/train in, tbh - gives you a wider choice & a much easier life.

The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. Good location, near the tube (Waterloo or Westminster) or you can walk into the west end in about 15 mins.
They don't have their own car park, but there is one literally 20 seconds walk from the door.
I have found that you can usually get a room at a reasonable rate and the car park is only £20 for 24 hours.
It is in the CC zone so watch out if you are going in the week.

Have used the hotel at Stamford Bridge (Chelsea FC). It has a huge underground car park and from memory the overall package, B&B plus parking, was very reasonable.

Canary Wharf will offer good rates depending on the day of the week

Most of the top hotels have parking underneath but are run by the likes of NCP and so on. If going in the week just watch out for the congestion charge if staying in the west end. Also general council and private car parks are perfectly safe due to the high end cars in there already, just leave nothing on show.

Just a thought, but if you're flying down, and driving back, why not have the time in town before you pick up the car?

What about staying in Greenwich? We stayed at the Davenport and getting into central London is easy via the river shuttle. Loads to see/do in Greenwich though tbh...
