Electric fronts memory seats on my Aston Martin Vantage 2006

Could anybody help me with a couple of electrical issues on my Aston Martin Vantage 2006.

Recently I discontected the car battery and gave it a full charge overnight. Recontected the battery the car started up perfectly but I have an issue with the drivers electric front memory seat as it will not move back or anything. I picked a few tips up on the internet of moving the seat fully forward to the dashboard and moving the headrest as far as possble forward to the dashboard etc.

The seat is now stuck in this position fully forward and wont move.

Also the heated seat and lumber support don't work now.

I have checked the fuses.

Can anyone please help me rectify this problem?

Since the recontection of my battery the car will not lock the doors or boot by the remote control, I now have to lock the doors manually with the key, please note I can open the doors and boot by the remote!!

Can anyone help me with this problem please.

Try using the battery re-set switch in the boot, and be sure the seat is fully to the end of its forward travel before testing if it will return. It's also worth trying the window reset. If this doesn't work you will likely need the help of your local friendly dealer to re-set/re-programme things for you. Best of luck

Hi Andy,

You'd be best starting a new thread for this so it gets peoples attention - I don't think it was even an option until 2007MY.
