Wash it, wax it, clean the headlights, polish everything you can, don't fit a huge ironing board on the back.

No idea on how to take the dash out, but it's usually easy to figure out if you have one in front of you.

I have an MB Civic. It looks boring, because it is boring. They are supposed to be like that.

What is supposed to happen is you buy your MB Civic, you drive it, when it needs servicing you service it, then you drive it some more, then service it again then drive it some more. Then when your friends, neighbours and colleagues cars breakdown, have a little laugh to your self, then get in your Civic and drive home.

Do not mess with it or the Guild Of Honda Owners will remove your Honda Owners License.

Look for excessive oil consumption. Sometimes the oil seals and valve stem seals can go if the car hasn't been looked after.

It won't break down or anything just use lots of oil.

3rd gear syncros can become worn.

Other than that it should go on forever.

Eta They are a pretty good steer with some sports springs and dampers.
