After reading the topic on the addition of the new ST estate to the Pistonhead fleet, I thought I'd add some pics of my ST.
I purchased the car at the end of November 2012. I travelled to Leeds to pick it up as my local Ford dealer were unwilling to negotiate on price. This was on their forecourt and was pretty much the spec I would have ordered. I may have waited and ordered a silver one, but in the end I didn't and this is what I now have.
I'm 5000 miles in now, with a mixture of motorway and cross country driving. Now the weather is better, I'm taking more varied routes home from Aberdeen to Perth.

Quick shot of the dash.

Controversial back end! I don't care, as I'm usually sitting inside!

Goodyear Eagle F1's back on after the winter. I only did 500 miles on them before swapping to Toyo Snow Prox 1 week after purchase.

Another shot from today. Shame it was starting to rain!

I know they divide opinions, but for me it ticks all the boxes.

Very nice, although I get what you mean with the colour, would probably have been a bit nicer if it wasn't Essex White wink.

Love the design of Ford's dashes at the moment, might be alone on that though.

Im sure it drives very well. For me the front grill just goes down too far. Ford needed to stop it at the number plate really.

Id still happily have one but that would always niggle me. Glad you can now enjoy it properly though!

I do like that. I really dislike the gap between the bonnet and the bumper though (I think it can be adjusted) and I reckon the numberplate would look better further down...

Thanks. I agree about the bonnet gap. When I get round to it, I'll see if it can be adjusted. Probably ask if they'll do it at the first service.

Nice motor smile

Slightly odd request, could you post a picture of the interior light please? i'm trying to find a certain Ford one and am working out what it's fitted to.

Thanks.

Nice car, glad to see one with the nicer interior options and not all the yellow trim!

Cheers and thanks again. Interior light pic! Ok, it will need to wait until after the weekend. Which one would you like to see, there are four, two in the back and two at the front.
I'm not a fan of the different coloured interiors. Although I don't think there is yellow, unless its a part of the tangerine scream package. The Sweeney Focus had yellow inserts on the seats, but thankfully this didn't make it to production on the black cars.

This is what's in my Focus. I assume the ST is the same:

That's similar to the one i'm after, but with more buttons and i'm wondering if the ST has one in black rather than beige?

Mine is similar to that, but it's in the middle. No sunroof. There's two, one for the rear pax and one for the front. And yes, it's in black.

Brilliant!! Thanks! Now to see how much Ford want for one.

Time for a small update. Here's a pic after a wee run up past Glenshee this morning. Thought with the winter wheels on, why not.

Nicely filthy!

My red MK3 ST3 is sitting outside this morning looking very mucky too.

Think I prefer the winters to the standard ST alloys.
Really like the look of these, slightly odd front end aside.

Absolutely love these. Good choice! I too would have gone for a different colour, but still, lovely car!
