Looking to book a summer holiday next year, preferably AI with a swim up room that will take 2x adults and 2x kids (13 & 11)
Any suggestions - i'm losing my mind trawling through 1st choice and Thomas Cook as there doesn't seem to be an easy way to find this room type

We did Blue Lagoon Village in Kos a couple of years ago and loved it, but their swim up rooms only have a double sofa bed for the kids which is no longer suitable. Off to Holiday Village Rhodes this year

any other suggestions?

Hi my son and his girlfriend stayed in a family room with swim up in Egypt. He went there last September and it was a really nice hotel and also had a water park at the hotel.

If you fancy it can find out the Hotel Name for you. Was very hot there he said even in September.

Might be easier to go into a travel agent and ask them as they should have more info available.

First Choice have a quite a few of these now so could be a good place to start........i had one through them last year and it was a nice touch........

You may wish to look at Cancun. I haven't stayed at a family resort but friends have at a couple of different places and theyve all mentioned the swim-up.

I have been to Mexico twice in the past 18 months, stayed in Riviera Maya area. It is the most wonderful place and so much to do. Would go back tomorrow.

I usually stay at the Royal Cancun (not as flash as it sounds) or the Royal at Puerto del Carmen (sp?) so much to do in that area... Teenagers would love Chichenitza (again sp?!).

We hired a Car for the whole time we was there, less than £20 to fill the tank and we could drive to all the lovely coves, even went over to Cozumel, went down to Punta Allen and it was the most beautiful place I have ever been, we went fly fishing there and we was walking in the flats while the lemon sharks were swimming past along with the rays it was truly magical.

We did drive up to Cancun a couple of times for the party boat and fishing from the little islands around there, it was very nice.

Ha ha! I hope you are joking?
We tried our local travel agents - 1st choice and Thompson and they had no clue - we gave up when we realised we knew more about their brochure than they did

I don't want to sound like a smart arse but we'd just done some basic research before going in and was hoping they would be able to give us a couple more options. Perhaps they hadn't been briefed on the new brochure or we got some newbies, but we left completely unimpressed with the service, or lack of.

Thanks for the Mexico pointers though - will check those out
