He means it is on Sky way after the series aired in the U.S.
Yep, I watched this back in Feb/March.

Seems odd it's such a big gap when, for example, True detective is just one day behind.

True Detective is simucast now, like Game of Thrones.
I think all the major HBO stuf that gets released on, HBO Go should pop up on simucast.
Banshee is made by HBO subsidiary, CInemax still, I think.

Yeah, Sky told me its to do with distribution rights. Obviously Banshee doesn't get pirated enough that they care

So, smashed in the head with a hammer I think tonight. Metal pipe in episode one, that would have been colouring books for Christmas on its own. In fact he's been knocked unconscious, beaten, tortured and had a car crash in just about every episode.

The guy needs studying it's a medical miracle.smile

Oddly though he wore a bandage/strap on his left hand for a number of episodes in S02 (I think).

He still had it on last night. I think he's had it on since somebody smacked him in the hand with a metal bar in season 1

...Sky have kept some shows for Sky Atlantic only, Banshee, Game of Thrones, Blue Bloods etc.

This keeps viewers with them rather then going to the cheaper competition, in fact it is the only reason I just renewed my Sky contract rather than going over to BT tv.
If there is more than 7 quid a month difference between BT and Sky you could go to BT and watch Atlantic (+ others) through NowTV. smile

I renewed contract with BT and kept on a rolling monthly contract with Sky so could still dump Sky for BT.

Just need to figure out how to get on-line NOW TV onto the main tv, I expect it is simple when you know what to do?

Have you an xBox as I watch Now TV via that. I have the last of the xBox 360s.

ETA I have just had an email that tells me that I can now use Chromecast with the Now TV app. My phone is Android so I'm sure that Apple will do it as well or soon.

Just caught up on the latest (UK) episode and it was a good one! Actually caught myself saying out loud "this is fking brilliant" in the last few minutes of the show. I think there were a couple of weak (relatively speaking) episodes recently in terms of story, they were saved by immense fighting scenes, but I know that I'll be really sad to see this end when it eventually does.

I can't work out what on earth I'm going to watch in it's place when it finishes.

You could have a go at Sons of Anarchy.

Finally up to date on this after looking for a replacement to Justified, overall not quite as good but this is pretty dark in places with decent women and fighting. Think that ex neo nazi could become interesting

Try Ray Donovan, season 3 is starting soon.

Ray is a hard nut like Hood, he takes care of business for the rich and famous and doesn't care how he does it.

Some brutal fight scenes and fit women in occasional sex scenes... sound familiar?
