Just had it slowly drive past me as I was sorting out the back of my van ready for Detailing Andrews db9 volante tomorrow. I'll get some pics next Time it happens. It went past very slowly

Hi to the guy in the black v8v that went past a few mins before (kk on the plate)

Roof down? Looking different enough to the DB9 to justify?

The roof was up. The back end looks quite chunky, but it will be interesting to see what it looks like with the roof down. I'd say it looked better than the db9.

Typical, just as I get used to the carbon splitter... they make it even better by body colouring it cloud9

That, for me is one of the very best looking cars out there yes

now being told it's photoshop

not that it really matters - the finished one will look nigh on identical

afraid manual simply won't happen, I suspect even works would struggle.....

That is just stunning and the paddle box in D and Sport is great anyhow.

Not sure if I mentioned Jonby... I don't usually go to Works when I want something done wink

Nice bit of photoshop; if the actually car does look like that, it's a winner!

ha ! I'm still not sure it's doable though. Well obviously anything is doable at a price, but I think this would be far more work than the manual conversion that works charged 15k for on vanquish 1, as that was from an automated manual - a lot of work surely to change from a torque convertor ?

A HUGE amount I expect... But I did ask about a TipTronic Porsche once and it was about 7-8k to change it to a manual... so it is conceiveably possible, but the car would have to be absolutely gutted to do it!

I appreciate that photos can be slightly misleading but for me the Virage shape - and its subsequent adoption under the DB9 moniker - was of sufficient deviation from its feline heritage for me to still want it.

I'm more of an aquiline man than an angular one, though I'm sure that once my taste catches up with modern times I will certainly join the Vanquish queue smile

Know what you mean.......the Vanq almost looks ahead of its time, maybe because the DBS still looks fresh IMO. It's growing on me though.

I'll let you know later, I have one for the day today. cool

Aren't you the guy who went in to buy a keyring and came out with a brand new V12V scratchchin

Aston know their audience; give Greg, the king of man maths the keys to the new car yes
