My car is looking a complete state at the moment, and as I don't have a hose at my flat I really can't be bothered washing it myself. So, I'm looking for somewhere that'll give it a decent wash and not ruin the paint. Doesn't have to be anything special, but I want to avoid the scratches and swirl marks you get from some of the dodgy places.
Don't mind travelling a bit, but I'd like it to be reasonably close to egham.

If anyone has some recommendations that would be great

cheers beer

There is one in Old Windsor behind the M&S petrol station that is pretty good.

I drove past that one only yesterday but didn't have time to go in. Will try them today, thanks!

Tried them yesterday and was pretty pleased - car came out looking nice and it only cost me £6. There was however a guy with a Porsche complaining they'd put marks on his car, so not sure if I'll be going back tbh

I'm in a similar boat. Moving to Staines and need to find a good car wash.

Anyone else got suggestions? Bit put off if someone is complaining of a place damaging their car.

If you are moving to Staines. The best car wash locally is on the Sunbury by pass. Go from the Crooked Billet roundabout towards Sunbury/Kingston. Next roundabout (White house roundabout) go straight and its on the right. You may have to go up and down as it's a dual carriageway.
Used them for a couple of years now they are great.
Might be called Sparkle clean.

That's the chaps. Really good job and they have it down to a fine art, so pretty quick.

Nice one. Cheers.

Keep an eye out for a silver Mazda 3 MPS around the area!

Hi all,

Wondering if Mr Sparkle is still the best choice for good car-washes near egham/staines or if theres someone else better? Normally was my own car but dont have all the equipment and car is really dirty so want to get it cleaned but without swirls/scratches etc that most car washes do!

I thought I would add an extra car wash to the conversation. They're not the usual quick in and out so please don't expect to be in and out in 20 minutes.

The original car spa is based in Addlestone. They don't use acid, but have a superb snow foam set of chemicals that are produced by the same German company that make Porsche and BMW products. They are also fans of Zymol, poor boys and Autoglym.

My car always comes out superbly. From the wash, they use one set of clothes per car and then clean them. An air gun is also used for blowing out drips.

The inside out also includes tyre pump, windscreen wash and free coffee in the restaurant.

They also do excellent detailing and have Bodyshop facilities and hydro graphics.

I'm very fussy about my cars being cleaned properly and they tick all my boxes.

Have a look at their Facebook page: The Original Car Spa.

My reason for putting this up is they recently helped me out when my car, a pagoda broke down due to a pot ignition. They stored the car securely,

I'm amazed they change their clothes after every car wash.

There is one at the rear of Wyevale Garden centre on the A30 from Sunningdale towards Bagshot. The place with the Swimming Pool Centre.
Seen quite a few high end cars getting a good clean in and out.

They also have seating and a table to sit at
No Bong Pipe though.

Isn't there one just near the Police station/Staines station? Not been there for quite a while so maybe not.. Also, there's a big one at Tesco Sunbury.

I use the one on the Laleham Road across from Universal Tyres. Decent service - no real complaints from me. Bit easier to get to than Mr Sparkle too! Think this is the nearest to Staines station off the top of my head.

+1 been using these guys for a few years now. Only for the mercs though as wouldn't ever get my others washed by anyone else but me! Only £6 for outside and a good job.
