Currently running Dunlop SP Sport 600's on a Impreza WRX STi 2010. Want to change to a different tyre with a better performance but at the same time not cost the earth. The tyres are becoming a tad difficult to get hold of and was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know where to look for an after-market exhaust, as Milltek is the only option we've found so far for the 2010 model, but they're a bit pricey. idea

I think that the Sport Maxx Race is a similar tyre at the SP600

Try Pro-R for scorpion exhausts

Ah, thank you. Didn't even think about Scorpion (dealing with bike exhausts, I tried a few companies but most didn't do car ones to fit). wobble

Thanks for the tip on tyres too. Seen some Yokohama AD08 ones that get rave reviews but they're a bit pricey for me at the moment. smile

Vredestein get constant great write ups and reviews. My next set will be Ultrac Vorti or Cento.

As for exhausts, Jetex do a great system, I've got one on my 2005 STi. Though to be honest, the Milltek will be hard to beat.

What size are they?

AD08's are brilliant, but not so good when worn a bit, still a worthy choice though. I have a 17" set on a Type R Impreza and love them

I've gone 18" Bridgestone Potenza S001's on my Forester STi for their stiff sidewall & carcass (like the AD08) and have been very pleased

Ears are good for Yoko's and online Oponeo for the Potenza's (£160 a set less than anywhere UK based)

Thank you both. smile

Tyre size on there is 245/40R18 93 W. The Dunlop's have lasted a while but got a nail right on the shoulder and it's losing psi, extremely slowly but still. Might as well take the opportunity to try another model.
