Sorry for the crap phone pic, found while walking the dog at Foots cray meadows Sidcup/Bexley.
Several more in groups near the tree line but all in the grass.

Can't tell from that picture - I think what you've found is a bit old and the caps have either rotted / been nibbled away.

A possibility at this time of year is Tricholoma gambosum, or the 'St. George mushroom'. This normally appears around St George's Day, 23rd April, but with spring being delayed it could well be that:



If you can find any more, get a better picture. The gills in the cap should be dense and slightly 'frilly'-looking. The mushroom should smell a bit like oatmeal.

Apparently it's good to eat, only I've never found any irked
