Cheers. Now where are they all?
Think the R36 is rare..? Try finding the later CC-based variant of the R36! They're easy. Cheaper too.
OP I'd suggest buying one ASAP as this article is sure to boost interest

I'm looking at selling my R36 Estate in Silver...85000 miles, FSH, good solid condition.
I've owned just over a year and done 35k mostly on the motorway. Get in touch if your interested.
Cheers,
Luke
Hi Luke, since bought a Cayenne Turbo. But thanks for letting me know. Could be interested in a swap mind you, but appreciate that's a total longshot. I've owned just over a year and done 35k mostly on the motorway. Get in touch if your interested.
Cheers,
Luke

On my hunt for a powerful family estate car does anyone know of any R36 Estates currently for sale?
What specialist VW forums would you recommend I consult for private sales?
I know of a Passat Estate 2.0 TSFI coming up for sale - it's the one with the 200hp GTI engine in it. A rare car! What specialist VW forums would you recommend I consult for private sales?

I found one for my mate the other week.
2009 "09" saloon in the best colour, blue. 32k miles with full dealer history, recent major service and a new Mechatronics on the gearbox, also done at VW. Got it for £11.5k, really straight genuine car too. Had a go of it the other day and it's lovely, so nice to drive for a bigger car.

You just missed mine...sold end feb with 37k and one of highest specc'd out there. Guy who bought it was chuffed....and I miss it..he'll of a car for a family estate....theyre like rocking horse sh#t. In total only 164 sold in uk, of which there are less than 70 estates. You are going to have to be patient.
Bit late to the party on this, but of those 164, some of them are police cars and still in useHoddo said:
