Finally joining you
Discussion
I'm a long time lurker who's finally made the move over to Aston, after a decade with various Lotus (Numerous Elises, a 340R, Exige, an Elan and 2 Evoras).
I collected my 4.3 from Rodger and Stuart at Murray Aston in Edinburgh, who were an absolute pleasure to deal with, sourcing the right car for me; a 14,000 mile 2007 coupe with a decent spec. If there's anyone else in Fife, do say hello.
In line with forum etiquette, I've already removed the front plinth and fuse 22, and fitted a much shorter aerial. I've also been in touch with Tony about radio and sat nav knobs, and will be looking for more contemporary wheels. Don't switch off though; I shall not be starting a 10 page thread on what looks best.
And the car? Well, apologies to Yeti, as it's one of the 50 shades of grey; Titanium silver. Hopefully the caspian blue interior will bring some redemption.
Finally, as required, I attach a few photos. Not the best quality as they are from my phone.

Just what the forum needs - another Jock
Welcome Derek, great to have you on board. My WiFi in Snowdonia is blocking your pics so apologies but I'm sure she's a beaute..
Funny that a recent thread has lambasted the Edinburgh dealer and its monopolistic position - funny how people have different perspectives

Thanks Guys.
Yeti - Aston seem to in a minority when it comes to making blue interiors tasteful, and since I decided to go for a coupe not a roadster the skys have been clear.
Jockman - I can only assume you are doing missionary work in Snowdonia.
Woollie - I think N400 wheels and sills along with a 6-bar grille will be my first changes.
Jon - not sure if you'll believe me when I say that was a multi in central Glasgow just before 8 am on Friday.

Congratulations Derek she’s a cracking looking car . I’m up towards Arbroath so not too far from you so we might bump into each other.
I like the line-up of your previous cars, I’ve also had an Elise and S1 Exige. Do you frequent Scottishelises at all? I still post on there occasionally, though I’ve been without a Lotus for a few years now.

Keep the red rear light, it's a great contrast with the Titanium Silver.
Sportspack wheels will look fantastic on your car.
I thought that it was difficult to source the Sportpack wheels?Sportspack wheels will look fantastic on your car.
PS Stunning looking car - Titanium is lovely, subtle but very aston - wouldn't mind seeing pictures of the interior.

Not difficult to source the wheels, just expensive.PS Stunning looking car - Titanium is lovely, subtle but very aston - wouldn't mind seeing pictures of the interior.
And as Derek mentioned N400 wheels, which is what the sportspack wheels are, I thought I would agree. And they do look good on a Titanium car.
