how to change head light bulb 06 vantage
Discussion
It is in the manual for the Main beam
Dipped is usually HID and has no "user serviceable parts" and you need GREAT care when messing with these as the ballast store VERY high voltages
The manual does say remove the wheel, but it can be done on full lock with some patience
90deg turn on each of the plastic screws to loosen the splash cover
Slide the cover out of the 3 slots
Flat bladed screw driver on the brass screws
Remove the plastic cover
Pull the connector from the rear of the bulb
Unclip the metal spring holding the bulb in place
withdraw bulb
Reverse for new bulb making sure it is located in the seat correctly
BTW the selector for swapping to Euro light position is also behind the splash guard

Good luck with that one, matey My last side light bulb was changed at Wilmslow and took about 1 hour (including the usual diagnostics and health check) and the wheel HAD to be removed whilst up on the ramps.
I'm too embarrassed to say what they charged but the bulb was about £6

BTW your DB has the older lights with small bulbs for the side lights rather than LEDS like the training bra's
(that's a point is the OPs car a DB9?)

I know from already having done it to put 100W main beams in mine
Ah! Was thinking of doing the same... Do you know what size cables go to the heads? I've a couple of 150W halogens spare from the rally car. Would the additional heat cause any problems do you think?mikey k said:

Its similar but more complicated as you MUST make sure the ballasts have discharged and handle the new bulb with out touching it with your fingers.Dipped is usually HID and has no "user serviceable parts" and you need GREAT care when messing with these as the ballast store VERY high voltages
