there is a nice looking 190 on autotrader 2.6 with 260k on it for £695 but I don't know how to put it on here

Did anyone on here buy that Aero? I enquired but couldn't get over there quick enough and then it disappeared from Gumtree. To be fair the MOT history wasn't encouraging - it had failed numerous MOTs and the impression I got was that no money was being spent ever unless forced to to pass the MOT, meaning an initial spend for the new owner seemed probable. That said it is a facelift manual aero and it was only £600, which is pretty incredible.

that's probably why it vanished if you were after a cheap car and local to that it would have been long gone

still can't work it out but its a 2.6 merc i90 with 260k but it looks good on the autotrader pics for £695

Perhaps, but as a trade-in many dealers will just want it out the door at what it owes them. Probably a car you'd sit on for a while at market price. Things like the correct ribbed floor mats make me think there's a good chance it's a decent car.
