I'm going to be in Milan for a couple of days during the middle of this month and am looking for something cool & car related to visit on the Saturday (15th).

Are there any interesting collections / centres like Meilenwerk in Berlin for example?

It would need to be in the general region of the city.

Grazie mille!

To be honest there's not much.
I would have suggested a tour at Monza, but there's a sport festival (not car-related) on the 15th and 16thso it's pretty pointless going there.
There is the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, which is about 15 miles off Milan, but from their website it looks like they're closed as well...

You might want to visit Mercedes' shop near the Duomo tough silly

Alex, thank you for the reply: I will probably take my camera & see if I can spot any interesting old Italian cars lurking in the side streets.

Turin isn't THAT far away and you will find the national motor museum of Italy there.

The Alfa Romeo is prebook only too which is a PITA.

138 Kms Milan to Turin.

Thanks, I've been to the one in Turin.

The Pirelli store in Milan has a black Countach & a sky blue Stratos on display.
Great city, friendly people & delicious food (in the suburbs).
